One of the most famous landmarks in town. The crown on the top of the church has become an international symbol representing Puerto Vallarta. The cupola on the top is a replica of the crown that was used by Empress Carlota in 1860.
The Malecon Alive with action day and night, the malecon is the boardwalk which stretches from the Hotel Rosita now all the way to Playa Los Muertos. It is the perfect place to see some sights and people watch. Sundays are the busiest with dancing in the square, art shows and a multitude of other performances. The perfect place to go for an evening stroll.

Just outside the city on the way to Mismaloya, Los Arcos is a protect marine preserve. The 3 giant rock formations are known as Los Arcos (the arches) Los Arcos is a favorite for snorkeling and scuba diving and is home to some of the deepest parts of the bay.
Marina VallartaA city within a city, the marina is home to immense hotels and resorts, a shopping centre, golf couse, and a full service marina. Most sea excursions leave from the marina and you will almost always see a cruise ship docked. Dont forget to go and taste some terrific tequila at Campo Azul while you are in the marina.

How can you come to Puerto Vallarta and not make a trip to the beach? It's almost inpossible. You can spend days on the sand and still not see all of the best beaches the bay has to offer.
